"Active breathing system"
The present invention relates to an active breathing system for an aseptic suit arranged to be worn by a user.
This type of system is commonly used in clean rooms. More precisely, the user puts on an aseptic suit and must be able to have an exchange with the surrounding environment in order to be able to breathe, while guaranteeing a sterile environment during manipulations carried out in white soil. Indeed, an increasingly frequent problem, with the improvement made to textile materials, operators suffer from drawbacks linked to an increase in the CO concentration inside the suit. There are portable aeration devices integrated into the suits, but the constraints linked to handling or cleaning difficulties or even from time to time of sterilization make them fragile, complicating logistics. Often, the air flows are theoretical and in the end, even used according to your manufacturers' criteria, the air is supplied in a very variable way if not at all.
There are also mass suit type systems there too, implementation is heavy and handling is complicated.
It is therefore known to use an aeration ventilation device which consists, using a fan, of directing the air inside the suit worn by the user. This type of device is generally complex and expensive. In addition, the ventilation system is heavy, which requires fixed placement in the clean room.
Unfortunately, your current devices have an imposing size which is restrictive for the user who must be able to use this active breathing system while carrying out manipulations in the clean room.

BE2018 / 5590 2
The object of the invention is to overcome the drawbacks of the state of the art by providing an active breathing system for an aseptic combination which is simpler, less expensive, more ergonomic for the user while preserving the sterile environment. 'a clean room and the logistical conditions associated with it.
To solve this problem, there is provided according to the invention, an active breathing system for an aseptic suit arranged to be worn by a user comprising:
- an aeration device to allow the orientation of the air surrounding a clean room outside said aseptic combination in an internal part of said aseptic combination, said aeration device being arranged to be located inside said aseptic combination and comprises o a first longitudinal hollow body arranged to receive a fan which is arranged to be connected to an energy source, o a surrounding air suction pipe in fluid communication with said longitudinal hollow body o an air outlet surrounding also in fluid communication with said longitudinal hollow body, and arranged to direct the surrounding air upwards,
an air intake means arranged to be located on an aseptic combination and arranged to allow the passage of surrounding air from the exterior of said combination to the interior of said combination, said air intake means allowing supplying said surrounding air suction pipe (8) to said aeration device (1).
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590 te mid air
So the device of the active breathing system is portable and smaller in size compared to the state of the art and its logistics are facilitated. Indeed, only the air intake means is in contact with the sterile exterior of the white soil when the device is worn by the user, in the aseptic combination, and indeed if. to be clean, it does not require to meet the drastic conditions of an aseptic environment. The air intake means may also be a grid, a membrane, a permeable elastic wall, possibly provided with an orifice, of the combination allowing the suction of the surrounding air inside the combination.
Thus, this makes it possible to provide an active, portable and easy-to-use breathing system, the air intake means of which is outside the suit in the surrounding environment of the suit room. user.
In fact, the active breathing system according to the present invention is particularly advantageous because it provides an isolated aeration device or the combination of the user of the sterile external environment of the clean room so that the active breathing system according to the This invention makes it possible to reduce your prior art handling steps such as sterilizing the device or the ventilator.
The system according to the invention can thus be integrated into a combination for a clean room, which easily ensures active breathing for the user who can carry out his manipulations by wearing the ventilator in a comfortable manner.
By the term "fan" is meant in the sense of the present invention, a turbine provided with blades rotating around an axis arranged to suck air through said surrounding air suction pipe and bring it out by said proximal end of the surrounding air outlet of the first longitudinal hollow body. The turbine enters
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590 rotation by activation of a switch and receives energy from the energy source to which it is connected, preferably the first longitudinal hollow body has a central longitudinal axis which is aligned with the facsimile of rotation of said turbine.
The turbine is advantageously dimensioned and driven with a speed of rotation to move and orient upwards a substantially identical air flow, at best slightly less than the air flow capable of passing through said at least one orifice, possibly provided a filter membrane to allow a stable and homogeneous suction, providing comfort in use without overworking the turbine engine to avoid overheating and an increase in temperature in the suit, especially as it is in a hollow body, certainly ventilated but of small dimension.
Furthermore, the active breathing system according to the present invention directs the flow of surrounding air upward and makes it possible to provide a flow of air that is comfortable for the user, that is to say that does not dry out his mucous membranes, without disturbing sensitive atmosphere of the clean room. In addition, the system according to the present invention ensures a good balance in the air flow entering the interface and the air flow leaving the aeration device, in the suit.
Advantageously, the active breathing system according to the present invention comprises a first air suction interface comprising a main wall arranged to be located outside said aseptic combination, from which extends a tubing, preferably lateral arranged for s '' extend through the aseptic combination to the interior thereof and be connected to said surrounding air suction tube reversibly, said main wall having at least one orifice, possibly provided with a membrane filter, arranged to allow the passage of surrounding air external to said combination, in said lateral tube in the direction of the interior of said combination, by sequential passage in said tube
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590 • κ / of suction of surrounding air, in said first longitudinal hollow body and through said outlet of surrounding air.
The system according to the invention is particularly simple, being sufficient to connect the tubing, preferably lateral, of air ia to the air aeration suction tubing which gives the first suction interface surrounding the first longitudinal hollow body of the device for example by forced interlocking or by pinching for air exchange with the outside and connecting the elements of the active breathing system for the aseptic combination worn by a user.
Preferably, said surrounding air outlet is arranged to be connected at a first end to at least one means for directing the surrounding air in a trunk area, preferably in a chest area, in all cases in a zone under head in the said combination.
The system according to the present invention therefore comprises at least one means for directing the surrounding air, where said outlet for surrounding air from the aeration device is connected to a first end of at least one means for directing the air. surrounding in a trunk area, preferably in a thorax area, in any case in a head area in the said combination
This allows the surrounding air drawn laterally, directed upwards, to the desired area of the user, preferably in a trunk area, thorax, in any case in an area under the head of the suit allowing an optimal supply of oxygen to the user.
By the terms "trunk area" is meant the part of the body situated above the pelvis and under the head of the user, in any case below the nose of the user
The term "chest area" means the part of the body located above the diaphragm and under the wearer's head, in any case below the wearer's nose.
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590
The term "head zone" means the part of the body located above the user's nose.
Preferably, said at least one means for directing the surrounding air comprises a tubing connected at one end to said surrounding air outlet, preferably said tubing flexible tubing, optionally by means of a connector.
Indeed, a flexible tubing is ergonomically designed, particularly suitable for directing the air surrounding the user's respiratory tract, without impeding the user's movements. The tubing can be of any material allowing the passage of the aeration device to the desired area of the user, for example the tubing can be made of textile, polymer material, silicone, polycarbonate, PVC, nitrile, thermoplastic polyurethane.
Preferably, a second end of said at least one means for directing the surrounding air is designed to be connected to a second interface present on an undergarment and provided with at least one air outlet orifice.
is one until
Indeed, when a second interface is present on an undergarment, for example sewn or fixed, it remains in place when the operator works and performs his mission. The second interface is preferably present in an end zone of said means for directing the surrounding air, which makes it particularly suitable for diffusing the surrounding air to the thorax, connected to the second user.
Advantageously, the active breathing system according to the present invention further comprises an undergarment. Indeed, holding is particularly advantageous in a system of the present invention because it allows for example the fixing of the ventilation to the underwear worn by an operator and facilitates the interior of the suit, at a location respectively opposite the location of the first air intake interface on the device, the attachment to
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590 the outside of the suit in order to optimally connect the side manifold and the air intake manifold.
More preferably, said second interface is fixed, preferably sewn onto the undergarment and comprises a second hollow body provided with a collar provided with a peripheral groove intended for its attachment to the undergarment, preferably to house a seam. of the understand at said second interface, said second hollow body being further provided with a connection orifice at said second end of said at least one means for directing the surrounding air, and at least one air outlet .
Indeed, by being fixed, preferably sewn on ia under clothing, the second interface has a fixed position, and an optimal positioning for the supply of oxygen in a zone chosen after the user. In addition, the second hollow body provided with at least one air outlet allows a better diffusion of the surrounding air and a comfortable flow for the operator because it does not obstruct and on the contrary it facilitates the air outlet. , more particularly it allows diffusion without drying the mucous membranes of the user.
Preferably, the active breathing system according to the present invention further comprises an aseptic combination which is provided with said first interface, said first interface preferably comprising a peripheral groove for accommodating a seam of the combination at said first interface. the combination of the active breathing system according to the present invention is preferably intended for a clean room and comprises an external face intended to be in contact with a surrounding medium and an internal face arranged to be in contact with a manipulator, a first and a second leg sections, an opening comprising closure means in a crotch area, preferably along each first and second leg sections, for example a zipper, a first and
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590 a second sleeve and a body part to which the first and second sleeves are connected by a linked end, the first and second leg sections also being connected to the body section by a linked end, said body part comprising a head passage section.
In a preferred embodiment, the combination of the active breathing system according to the present invention further comprises at least one first gripping means, in contact with the. inner side in the body part.
In fact, an active breathing system comprising such an aseptic combination advantageously makes it possible to have a combination designed to be integral with said first interface. In this way, the aseptic conditions, despite the opening provided for the entry of surrounding air into the suit, are perfectly preserved and the connection of the suit via said first interface to the active breathing device is adjusted. When the active breathing device is worn at the waist by the operator, which is often the most suitable so as not to hamper the work of the operator, the first interface is located laterally on the suit. Depending on whether the air suction tube is located, when the device is worn by an operator laterally between the waist and the armpits or rather on the hip or on the upper thigh, the first interface is then sewn onto the suit , laterally, on the body or leg section, below the part connected to the sleeve or in the upper half of the leg.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment of the system according to the present invention, the combination is that which is the subject of application EP2303044 and is supplied packed and aseptically folded in an individual package. Eile then slips on without a bracket or assistance, simplifying the dressing procedures and avoiding costly mistakes. In the system according to the present invention,
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590 the aeration device is isolated by the suit worn by the operator from the sterile external environment of the clean room so that the active breathing system allows you to reduce your restrictive handling steps as indicated above.

More preferably, said main wall of said first air suction interface is further provided with a gripping means extending transversely relative to said main wall.
Indeed, this allows the user to have a socket facilitating the gripping of the first air suction interface which is outside of the suit, for example to achieve forced nesting with the device. ventilation inside the suit. The gripping means being outside, it is sterile and must remain so. Therefore, the gripping thereof to connect the active breathing device will be done either through the fabric of the sleeve or after the operator has put on his gloves. In addition, gripping by the gripping means also makes it possible to facilitate disconnection when undressing.

The first longitudinal hollow body 4 of the ventilation device is provided as illustrated with a fixing means 7, for example a slide, allowing the user to fasten the belt to the waistband. A first end of the direction means 17 of the surrounding air is connected to the first longitudinal hollow body 4 by means of a connector 16. The direction means 17 of the surrounding air brings the surrounding air into a chest area, dre preferably in an upper part of the chest area and in all cases below the operator's head, under the facial area. Therefore the second end of the direction means 17 of the surrounding air is connected to the hollow body 18 of the second interface 20 which is. sewn to said undergarment, preferably in a chest area, in all cases in an under-head area of the undergarment so that the surrounding air arrives at the user in an area allowing optimal breathing. The second interface 20 is therefore sewn into a chest area of the undergarment. The undergarment includes a series of orifices 32 for the outlet of surrounding air.
As can be seen, depending on whether the undergarment has a thickness of fabric or two thicknesses of fabric, the air passage will be slightly different. If the undergarment has a thickness of fabric, the surrounding fair passes through the tube 17, under the undergarment and emerges by the most direct path, either through the series of orifices 32 drilled through the thickness of fabric, at the level of the collar of the undergarment as well as through the head passage opening. If the undergarment has at least two thicknesses of fabric in the neck section of the undergarment, the surrounding air passes through the direction means 17 through the external thickness of fabric, and terminates between the two. fabric thicknesses
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590 to come out through the series of orifice 32. The at least two thicknesses being connected by the seam of the head passage orifice; my air outlet through the head passage opening is then reduced. The air outlet openings 32 are provided so that the air flow is comfortable for the futilizer, that is to say that the surrounding air entering the suit 24 of the user must not dry the mucous membranes of the user during breathing and the air exchanges between the inside and the outside of the suit 24 do not disturb air in the clean room and do not create an overpressure in the suit.
FIG. 11 illustrates an aseptic combination 24 of the system according to the invention, in fact said combination 24 comprises an external face 24A intended to be in contact with the environment surrounding the clean room and an internal face 24B intended to be in direct contact or indirect with the user, in fact an underwear may be present between the interior of the suit 24 and the user. The combination 24 also includes a first and a second leg section 24C and 24D, substantially tubular for accommodating the legs of an operator, connected to each other by an opening comprising a closure means 26 in a zone d 'crotch, for example a zipper, preferably along each first and second leg section 24C and 24D. A pelvis section 24E to house the operator’s pelvis, the pelvis section 24E is connected to the two leg sections and ends opposite by a detailed section 24F. The combination 24 also includes an upper part comprising a first and a second sleeve section 24G and 24H each connected to a trunk section 241 comprising the head passage section 24J. The head passage section 24J is connected to the 2.4K hood. Each of the above sections can be made in one piece or in several pieces sewn together. Identically, several sections can be formed in one piece or several pieces sewn together. In addition, the combination 24 comprises a first
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590 gripping means 25, in contact with the inner face in the body part.
FIGS. 12A to 12F illustrate the user after having put on the aseptic combination 24 of the system according to the invention. Indeed, the first air suction interface 2A is located on the aseptic combination 24, more particularly, the user grasps the gripping means 13 which extends transversely with respect to the main wall 2B in contact with the surrounding environment of the white soil, after having grasped the gripping means 13, the user will push the first air suction interface 2A so as to allow the interlocking of the two pipes 8 and 8 ′ in order to allow the passage of surrounding air from the surrounding air inlet orifices 3 until at least one outlet orifice 32 for surrounding air located inside the aseptic suit 24 to allow the breathing of the user .
The first air suction interface 2A can, alternatively, be positioned on both the left side and the right side of the aseptic suit 24 and as well on the front part, on the side or on the back part of aseptic suit 24.
As can be seen, in this embodiment, the suit 24 comprises a hood connected to the head passage section provided with protective glasses, as for example those described in EP3318144. EP3223916, and EP2823859. The hood is also equipped with a wall intended to cover the nose and the mouth in a filtering material, easily letting out the gaseous molecules but whose porosity retains the microorganisms likely to be expelled by operator breathing.
FIG. 13 illustrates a variant of the second interface 20, in fact the second interface 20 is in the form of a second longitudinal hollow body 18 having at least one series of air outlet orifices 32. This second hollow body longitudinal is provided with an opening 30 provided with a tube 29 arranged to connect the means
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590 24 of direction 17 of surrounding fair, optionally by means of an additional fitting, and also includes a collar 21 provided with a peripheral groove 21.A intended to accommodate a seam of the undergarment, preferably said second body longitudinal hollow is sewn onto a trunk section, preferably a thorax or even coi section, in all cases a section under the head of the user's underwear as illustrated in FIG. 16. In this representation, the second interface 20 by having the shape of a second longitudinal hollow body is particularly suitable for providing a comfortable surrounding air flow to the user, not drying out its mucous membranes and preserving the quality of the air exchanges with the clean room.
Figures 14 and 15 illustrate variants of the fastening of the ventilation device 1 to the underwear of a user, in fact, the ventilation device 1 can be fixed, optionally by means of a connector 16, to a harness or a backpack type system that the user wears directly on himself or for example on the underwear. In addition, in these representations, the direction means 17 of the surrounding air is in the form of two tubes arranged to direct the surrounding air towards the head section of the user by his back. Indeed, the two pipes of the direction means 17 of the surrounding air will pass through the back of the user, and each of the two pipes will be connected to a part 27 allowing the diffusion of the surrounding air to the user for his breathing.
Indeed, the hollow body 18 is secured to the undergarment 23, for example fixed at the shoulder of the undergarment 23. The hollow body 18 may also be secured to the air direction means 17 surrounding. Finally, the hollow body 18 may be in the form of a surrounding air outlet diffuser in an internal part of the aseptic combination 24, this diffuser being provided with an air outlet orifice 31, comprising at least a series of air outlet ports 32.
2018/5590
BE2018 / 5590
In addition, the first air suction interface 2A is made of rubber based on a nitrile group, preferably of butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer.
It is understood that the present invention is in no way limited to the embodiments described above and that many modifications can be made thereto without departing from the scope of the appended claims.
For example, when the terms "orientation of the surrounding air of a white soil outside of said aseptic combination 10 in an internal part of said aseptic combination" are used, it is also understood that the air surrounding a clean room can be replaced by breathable air from a compressed air cylinder, equipped for example with a regulator, as in situations where the air is contaminated.
For example, when the terms "underwear" are used, by extension is meant that said underwear can be an under layer of the suit.
